CMS 2016 aims to examine the technical, practical, social, and judicial problems encircling the balance between cryptography and mass surveillance in the world today. To this end we have gathered experts in cryptography, law, and information security to explore the controversial - and uneasy - relationship between the goals of cryptography and mass surveillance.
The workshop is open to all. Lunch is included in the registration. Registration deadline is 8 November. There is a limit on the maximum number of participants; registration will close when the maximum is reached or on 8 Nov., whichever comes first.
